Atheism
The word "atheism" is derived from 'a', meaning 'not', and 'theos',
meaning 'god'. In other words, atheism is for people who believe
there is no god of any kind.Below are some of the
fundamentals of Atheism.
Atheism: How Did We Get Here?
Who Knows? The best guess is probably that we somehow evolved from
primitive life-forms. But there's no explanation for how the
primitive life-forms got here. For no reason at all, the world came
into existence, and eventually so did we. That's about all we can
say.

Atheism: What is the Purpose of Life?
There is no possible long-term purpose of life from atheism. Life
came about by accident, and so anything that happens is completely
by accident. The best way to live out life as an atheist would be to
"eat, drink and be merry". If any purpose were to come to the fore,
it would probably be to be strong enough to survive. This is based
on the "survival of the fittest" part of the theory of evolution.
All people are simply by-products of a cosmic accident, and so the
most logical way to approach life is to look out for number 1, and
preserve self at all costs...not surprisingly, this is basically the
unwritten credo of modern society.

Atheism: Who/What is God?
There is no such thing/person as "God". The word "god" is an
invention of our minds to help those who are weak.

Atheism: Who Are Humans?
Human beings, like every other life-form in existence, are
accidental by-products of evolution. We would like to believe that
we are the most advanced stage of the evolutionary process. There is
no reason for humans to exist, and no reason for humans not to
exist.

Atheism: What is Sin?
The word "sin" is an invention of the human mind. It is not possible
for "sin", or morals, or the concepts of right and wrong, to derive
from a belief in atheism. In fact, morals are in direct conflict
with the atheistic advance of evolution. Here, the strong survive
and the weak are eliminated. Morals (helping the weak) and
evolutionary survival (eliminating the weak) cannot exist together.

Atheism: How Do You Explain Pain and
Suffering?
Pain and suffering are part and parcel of evolution. There is no
reason for or purpose in suffering, and if you suffer, it's just bad
luck. Perhaps suffering could be viewed as nature's way of sorting
the strong from the weak. If life-forms make it through suffering,
they must be strong, and therefore they deserve to continue living.

Atheism: What Happens When You Die?
Your body returns to the elements of nature. There is no such things
as a soul or spirit, and so there is no such thing as an afterlife.
When you die, that's it. The end. No reincarnation, and no judgment
or "payback" for "wrongs" committed while on earth.
