Where he's from: We are from Asheville, NC. Marion
and I graduated from the same high school in May of 1951.
His story: After high school, I went to Mars Hill
College. I finished Mars Hill in the Spring of 1953. I
entered Furman University and graduated in 1956 with three
majors - Speech, English, and Social Studies. I started d
teaching in 1956. I pastored churches from 1956 through
1997.
Ministry at Central: Ministry to hospitalized,
those recovering at home, home-bound, and nursing homes.
Family: wife - Marion; daughter - Katherine; son - Barry
Favorite pastimes: fishing and swimming
Little known fact: my first name is Burnette and my
middle name is Carroll

Advice to others: Spend your life for Him Who gave it
to you.
His passion: To bring people to Jesus. To help
prospective preachers and Christian workers learn the Word
of Christ
