Who has been the biggest influence in your life besides
Jesus?
I believe a person is in many ways shaped by the company he
keeps. I have a group of friends who have been a huge influence in my life. They have modeled love, support, strength,
forgiveness, trust, accountability, understanding.... The
list is ridiculously long. I can't imagine life without
close friends.
What is currently in your CD player?
My car doesn't have a CD player. I think my car was made
before they had CD players. In my iPod I have Casting
Crowns, Third Day, Central Baptist Church Choir, .Rod Laver,
Disciple, Hopes Call, John Ruben, P.O.D., Phillips, Craig, &
Dean, Pillar, Project 86, Rena Hill....This list is pretty
long, too.
Where would you go if you could take a 2 week vacation
anywhere in the world?
My dream 2 week vacation would probably be at my house. It's
my favorite place in the world. I'm never there enough.
When you were growing up, what did you want to be?
I fi rst wanted to be a Lone Ranger, then a professional
wrestler or a Jedi Knight. When I figured out that none of
those would pan out, I decided on a lawyer, then Supreme
Court Justice, Then a writer, plumber....this list is
getting long, too. Let's just say that I still haven't
decided what I want to be when I grow up, but I'm leaning
strongly toward Children's Pastor.
Why do you love Jesus so much?
I love Jesus so much because, in spite of my mistakes He
loves me, in spite of my weaknesses He chose me, in spite of
my constant failings, He never gives up on me. I love Jesus
because He loves me in spite of who I am.
How have you grown in the Lord in the past year?
In the past few years I have learned that I am capable of so
little. I've learned that my confidence belongs in Him, and
if I do anything right it's because I was obedient.
