Where he's from: I was born and raised in
Winston-Salem, NC. I have spent 29 years in Dunn.
His story: I came to Christ in 1972 as a 12 year old
boy. God began to speak to my heart immediately about
serving Him and I surrendered in 1973. I started preaching
at the age of 16 in 1976 and am thrilled with the
opportunity that God has given me here at Central.
Ministry at Central: I presently serve as Lead
Pastor at Central and thank the Lord for the team of people
that he has placed around me. My ministry is primarily
pulpit ministry, administration and leadership.
Family: My wife of 32 years, Teri formerly Daily.
Three children, Stephanie, Tiffany and Stephen. Tiffany is
married to Michael L. Smith of Stedman. Stephen is
married to the former Brooke Long of Greensboro. Three
wonderful grandsons, twins Noah and Eli, Kanaan, and a granddaughter, Madelyn.
Favorite pastimes: I love to read and travel. I enjoy
new and different restaurants.
Little known fact: I am losing my hair
Favorite verse: I suppose it would be that passage in
I Kings 18:36

Advice to others: "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall
not fulfill the lust of the flesh"
His passion: Jesus Christ first, my family and then
this church.
