Prayer Trail Prompt 4

GOD'S POWER
GOD'S POWER

Above all else, let’s focus our prayers on inviting the presence of God into this new children’s building. Just as in the Old Testament when the glory of God filled the temple, let’s pray that His presence will be tangible within these walls. May children encounter the love, grace, and transforming power of Jesus Christ as they step into this building. Pray that the atmosphere will be charged with the Holy Spirit’s presence, and that lives will be forever changed as a result. Let’s cry

out for the glory of the Lord to fill this place.
2 Chronicles 7:1-2: “Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’s house.”

Isaiah 6:1-4: “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.”

Acts 4:31: “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
